Ansible Role: mariadb-galera-cluster

This is a straightforward Ansible role for installing and setting up the MariaDB Galera cluster version 10.3 on RHEL/CentOS 7.

• Install required packages
• Create configuration file

Requirements

• This role does not manage SELinux and firewall settings.

Role Variables

None of the variables listed below are mandatory.

Dependencies

There are no dependencies.

In the file start_cluster.yml, you need to specify the IP address of the first node, which will be the master.

Example:

• name: start first node command: galera_new_cluster when: ansible_default_ipv4.address == '192.168.0.23'

Example Inventory File

[galera_cluster_nodes] 192.168.0.23 192.168.0.24 192.168.0.28

Example Playbook

• hosts: galera_cluster_nodes

  become: yes

  roles:

  • /path/mariadb-galera-cluster

...
