Ansible Role: Multimedia

This Ansible role installs useful multimedia applications and codecs. It was designed for the Ansible Playbook: Linux DevOps Workstation.

Objectives

1. Install free and non-free codecs.
2. Install FFMpeg.
3. Install VLC.

You can change these variables:

multimedia_application_packages: []

List the RPMs or APT packages for the multimedia applications you want to install.

multimedia_codec_packages: []

List the RPMs or APT packages for the multimedia codecs you want to install.
