Installing Git

Requirements

Here are any necessary items that might not be automatically handled by Ansible or the role. For example, if the role uses the EC2 module, it's helpful to mention that you need the boto package.

Role Variables

• git_version: define the version of Git you want to install.

Dependencies

You need to have the following packages installed: gcc, make, gettext, libreadline-dev, and libcurl4-openssl-dev.
