Ansible Role: Packer

This role installs Packer, a tool for creating images and boxes using Go.

Requirements

No special requirements.

Role Variables

Here are the variables you can use, along with their default values (check defaults/main.yml):

• packer_version: "1.0.0"
  The version of Packer to install.

• packer_arch: "amd64"
  The system architecture (like 386 or amd64) to use.

• packer_bin_path: /usr/local/bin
  The directory where the Packer program will be installed (it should be in the system's $PATH).

Dependencies

No dependencies.
