Ansible Role: EPEL Repository

This role installs the EPEL repository (Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux) for RHEL/CentOS.

Requirements

This role should only be used on RHEL and its derivatives.

Role Variables

Here are the variables you can use with default values (see defaults/main.yml):

• epel_repo_url: This is the URL for the EPEL repo. It usually does not need to be changed, unless the role is outdated or you need a specific version.

• epel_repo_gpg_key_url: This is the URL for the GPG key used for the EPEL repo. It's also generally left as is.

• epel_repo_disable: Set this to true if you want to disable the EPEL repo, even if it is already installed.

Dependencies

None.
