mtpereira.erlang

Erlang Build Status

This tool installs Erlang from a special repository. By default, it will install the latest versions of the erlang and erlang-manpages packages from the Erlang Solutions repositories.

Requirements

No requirements.

Role Variables

You need to set these variables:

  • erlang_packages_state: Tells the system whether to install, upgrade, or remove packages. Default is latest.
  • erlang_additional_packages: Lists any extra packages you want to install. Default is [erlang-manpages].
  • erlang_repo: The URL for the repository to get the packages from. Default for Debian is http://packages.erlang-solutions/ and for Ubuntu is https://packages.erlang-solutions.com/.
  • erlang_repo_key_url: URL for the GPG key to check the repository’s validity. Default is https://packages.erlang-solutions.com/{{ ansible_distribution | lower }}/erlang_solutions.asc.
  • erlang_repo_key_server: URL for the GPG key server used in combination with erlang_repo_key_id. If you set both this and erlang_repo_key_id, do not set erlang_repo_key_url.
  • erlang_repo_key_id: GPG key ID used with erlang_repo_key_server for validation. If you set both this and erlang_repo_key_server, do not set erlang_repo_key_url.
  • erlang_pin: Indicates if the erlang_repo should be pinned. Default is true.

Internal variables, avoid changing:

  • erlang_packages_force: Forces installation even if packages aren’t verified. Defaults to yes for Debian and no for other systems.
  • erlang_pin_priority: Set the priority for pinned repositories. Default is 999, giving erlang_repo priority over others, unless it would downgrade an existing package.

Dependencies

None.

Testing

You can run tests on Debian Wheezy and Ubuntu Trusty by using the command "vagrant up".
