This is an Ansible role for installing and setting up Git.

Role Variables

For the current list of input parameters, please check the defaults file.

Example Playbook

Testing

Make sure you have Docker installed to run the tests for this role. You can find other Python dependencies in the requirements file.

This role is tested with the following distributions (Docker images):

• Ubuntu Focal
• Ubuntu Bionic
• Ubuntu Xenial
• CentOS 7
• Debian Buster

You can run tests on the role directly from the source using the command molecule test.
