Fluentd

This is for installing Fluentd, a log collector.

It uses the stable td-agent package from Treasure Data, which you can find more about here: https://docs.fluentd.org/v1.0/articles/install-by-rpm.

Variables

Optional settings you can use:

• fluentd_groups: A list of extra groups for the Fluentd/td-agent user. This can help with access to certain logs. Default is none.
• fluentd_plugins: A list of Fluentd plugins you want to install. Default is none. Check out the available plugins at https://www.fluentd.org/plugins.
• fluentd_env: A set of environment variables.
• fluentd_yum_lock_timeout: How long to wait (in seconds) for the yum process to release the lockfile.

Configuration

Put your configuration files in /etc/fluent/conf.d.
