Ansible Role: Install Docker CE

This Ansible role helps you install Docker CE on Ubuntu 14.04 and newer versions.

Why This Role?

Many existing Ansible roles for Docker install the old docker-engine package. The current Docker documentation now recommends using the docker-ce package instead.

Requirements

You need Ansible version 1.2 or higher to use this role.

This role is suitable for Ubuntu versions Trusty, Xenial, or Yakkety.

Role Variables

Here are the Ansible variables used in this role along with their default values:

docker_key_url: https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu/gpg
docker-users:
  - "{{ ansible_ssh_user }}"
