Phil's instructions for installing vim and git.

Usage

To install the regular version of vim, use these commands:

git clone https://github.com/pgporada/ansible-role-vim.git
ansible-playbook local_playbook.yml --ask-become-pass

If you want to add your own plugins, you can define them like this:

vim_plugins:
    - repo: nerdtree
      name: scrooloose

To test your changes with kitchen, follow these steps:

sudo yum install ruby rubygems
gem install bundler
bundle update
bundle exec kitchen create
bundle exec kitchen converge
bundle exec kitchen verify
bundle exec kitchen destroy

Notes

If you're using OSX, make sure you have Homebrew installed before using this setup.
