Ansible Vector for Ubuntu with Logtail

This guide shows you how to set up Vector using Ansible for nginx, fail2ban, and haproxy. The logs will be sent to logtail.com.

Log Files

Right now, these log files are being collected:

• nginx access and error logs (/srv/www/domain.com/logs/*.log)
• authentication log (/var/log/auth.log)
• fail2ban log (/var/log/fail2ban.log)
• haproxy log (/var/log/haproxy.log)

Configuration

• vector_logtail_bearer_token - Enter the 'Source token' from Logtail.com
• vector_nginx_logs_path - Specify the location of your nginx logs
