Shariff-Install

The c't and heise teams created a free and open software that allows fair use of social media buttons without sharing personal data of visitors. You can find it at GitHub.

This role will install the shariff-php backend on your web server.

We are just getting started.

Promise

This role may change in the future, but we will only add features to maintain compatibility with older versions. If large changes are needed, we will create a new role, likely with 'ng' or a version number.

Installation

To install, use the following command:

# ansible-galaxy install zwischenloesung.shariff-install

Requirements

• Ansible version greater than 2.2
• On the target host:
  • Generic UNIX with FHS
  • PHP (the default needs PHP 5.6/7.0/7.1; you can switch to an older version if necessary; shariff 3.0.1 supports PHP 5.4)

Role Variables

• app__shariff

Dependencies

• Galaxy-Role: zwischenloesung.yapkg
  • This will install the php5 provider on Debian (by default, it uses 'php5-fpm'; you can change it using app__php__yapkg).
