proftpd

Role Name

This role installs a Proftpd server with virtual users from a MySQL/MariaDB database instead of real system users (included Quota). Please keep in mind that the role is dedicated to users who should have access e.g. to a web server (apache or nginx: /var/www/html path). Mostly based on: https://www.howtoforge.com/proftpd_mysql_virtual_hosting_debian_etch

Requirements

Centos/RHEL MySQL or MariaDB (I assume that data base exists), if not check or install MySQL locally using /tests/requirements.yml. DB can be also remotely, only edit defaults/main.yml

Role Variables

Available variables are listed below, along with default values (see defaults/main.yml):
