Ansible modprobe role

This is an Ansible role to configure kernel modules load using modprobe.

Role Variables

A list of all the default variables for this role is available in defaults/main.yml.

Example Playbook

This is an example playbook:

---

- hosts: all
  roles:
    - role: amtega.modprobe
      vars:
        modprobe_modules:
          - name: cramfs
            state: blacklisted

          - name: usb-storage
            state: deactivated

          - name: e1000
            state: install
            alias:
              - eth0
              - eth1
            options:
              - speed=10,100
              - duplex=2,1

Testing

Tests are based on molecule with vagrant virtual machines.

cd amtega.modprobe

molecule test --all
