This role sets up and configures the Sphinx search engine.

You need Ansible version 1.4 or higher to use this role. The specific platform requirements can be found in the metadata file.

Platforms

This role was developed and tested on Ubuntu Trusty. It has also been tested on Debian Wheezy and Jessie.

How to Install This Role for Local Environment

To install Sphinx locally, run the following command:

ansible-playbook install.yml

Make sure to run this command from the root directory of the current repository.
