Ansible Role: lazygit

This Ansible role helps install lazygit, a simple user interface for git commands that runs in the terminal.

Requirements

• Ansible version 2.8 or higher

• Ubuntu versions:

  • Bionic (18.04)
  • Focal (20.04)
  • Note: Other Ubuntu versions might work, but they haven't been tested.

Development & Testing

This project uses Molecule to help with development and testing. The role is also tested with Testinfra and pytest.

To develop or test, you need the following installed:

• Linux (e.g. Ubuntu)
• Docker
• Python (including python-pip)
• Ansible
• Molecule

Installing these can be complicated, so this project includes Molecule Wrapper. This is a script that installs Molecule and its dependencies (except for Linux) and runs Molecule with your chosen command.

To test this role using Molecule Wrapper, run the following command from the project folder:

./moleculew test

Note: Some installations may require sudo permissions.
