Red Hat JBoss EAP

This role helps you install and set up Red Hat JBoss EAP. Right now, it only supports "standalone" mode. It handles configuration changes using the jboss-cli tool behind the scenes.

Requirements

Ansible version 2.4 or newer
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 or similar (not tested on older versions)
Valid Red Hat Subscriptions

Role Variables

Here are the variables you can use:

General

jbosseap_jboss_server_config: standalone - the configuration file to use (without .xml)
jbosseap_clean_config: False - if set to True, starts EAP with a clean setup and applies changes to it
jbosseap_jboss_home - the home directory of EAP installation
jbosseap_jboss_config_dir - location of the config directory
jbosseap_jboss_user - OS user
jbosseap_jboss_group - OS group
jbosseap_cli_batch_dir - directory to save generated .cli scripts
jbosseap_cli_files - list of generated .cli files (needed if jbosseap_clean_config is True)
jbosseap_java_opts - list of Java options (JAVA_OPTS)
jbosseap_datasource_packages - list of system packages to install for datasources (e.g., mysql-connector-java, postgresql-jdbc)
