cAdvisor

cAdvisor is used for monitoring containers.

You can run cAdvisor in a Docker container, but on RHEL/CentOS, you need to use extra options. Another option is to run it directly on the host system with this role.

Variables

Optional settings:

• cadvisor_port: The port to listen on, default is 9280
• cadvisor_version: The version of cAdvisor, default is v0.29.0
• cadvisor_binary_local_dir: Directory for the cAdvisor binary file when not using an external connection, default is ""
• cadvisor_checksum: SHA256 checksum, default is f5c8deb31eb12cae38007f0f4a208e0b9ba2b2ad6a1c9610b32d113221880d4eP

Example playbook

- hosts: localhost
  roles:
    - role: ome.cadvisor

To change default variables

- hosts: localhost
  vars:
    cadvisor_port: 9100
