This setup installs a cron job that checks how many patches are waiting to be installed on an openSUSE/SLES system. It uses a UserParameter called zypper_patches to gather this information.

Requirements

Make sure you have the Zabbix agent installed. You can use my zabbix-agent role for this. Note that this role does not configure Zabbix for you (at least not yet).

Role Variables

All settings can be found in defaults/main.yml. You can view and update them in your own variable files.

Dependencies

You will need the zabbix-agent.
