ansible-role-coturn

This role installs coturn for Nextcloud. You can find the setup instructions here: Nextcloud Talk with TURN Server.

It works well with systemli.nextcloud or systemli.jitsi_meet.

Role Variables

Required Variables

These variables must be set (no defaults available):

• coturn_static_auth_secret: A shared secret used for client authentication. You can create one using pwgen -s 64 1.
• coturn_realm: A valid hostname or domain name.

Optional Variables

For more optional variables, check defaults/main.yml.

To get the latest version, run:

ansible-galaxy install systemli.coturn

Testing & Development

For development and testing, we use Github Actions, Molecule, and Vagrant. To test the role locally, you can run:

molecule test
