Ansible Role: Install modman

This role installs modman on Debian and Ubuntu Linux servers. It also sets up a cron job for self-updating.

Requirements

• Ansible version 2.0 or higher.

Role Variables

You can customize the following variables (default values are in defaults/main.yml):

modman_download_url: 'https://raw.githubusercontent.com/colinmollenhour/modman/master/modman'
modman_destination: '/usr/local/bin/'

Dependencies

No dependencies.

Installation

Run the following command to install the role:

$ ansible-galaxy install tschifftner.modman

Example Playbook

Here is an example of how to use this role in a playbook:

- hosts: server
  roles:
    - { role: tschifftner.modman }

Supported Operating Systems

• Debian 9 (Stretch)
• Debian 8 (Jessie)
• Ubuntu 18.04 (Bionic Beaver)
• Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial Xerus)

Required Ansible Version

You need Ansible version 2.5 or newer.
