Build Status

Installation and basic configuration of Splunk Enterprise.

Splunk Enterprise version updates can be installed by incrementing the splunk_version variable and its corresponding splunk_build variable.

LDAP authentication with Microsoft Active Directory can be configured with additional variables.

Requirements

pyOpenSSL - To generate self-signed x509 certificate.

Please remember to set your own values for splunk_common_admin_passwd, splunk_common_admin_salt and splunk_secret, ideally encrypting them with ansible-vault.

There's also a Vagrantfile that you can use to start up a local test server.
